When going into the room with the patient:

Show empathy and speed

ONCE YOU HAVE LEARNED THE JOB.

Show accuracy and understanding.

Show professionalism by working on your skill.

Don’t seem uncertain.

Know what you are doing!

Learn to communicate quickly.

Say thank you when very sensative informaton is given.

Keep cheif complaints short and to the point.

Run test and let the clinician know the patient is ready AFTER DOCUMENTATION.

Use timers when running test.

Follow instructions when running test.

Use accuracy when doing things.

Double check your work until you are confidant.

Dont get upset when the patient gets upset.

Learn when and where to steal away and take a break when needed. Do not burn yourself out and remove yourself out of a situation if necessary.
