Use a humble approach

The best course of action to take when you are starting out or starting at a new place is to be humble. Be teachable and submissive. Your new coworkers are going to be your trainers for a while. The moment you choose to express your ungratefullness you just might GET BOOTED! Once your ego shows up NOONE WILL WANT TO TEACH YOU ANYTHING! Don’t come in, use people for information and then choose to dis them once you “feel” you no longer need them. Truth is: In the medical field you will always need your coworkers no matter how advanced you get. Let me explain: The medical field is set up so that no one person is doing an overwhelming amount of anything. That lessens the amount of mistakes that can be made. IE: he doctor does the prescribing so that he doesn't have to focus on all the small details such as vital signs weight height etc. which can help the clinician determine dosages to give.
